During our 40 combined years of managing and leading we observed process and technology advances that leveraged human effort, solved numerous business problems and created significant value for organizations. However, we also observed that people's interaction knowledge and skills could not keep pace with the process and technology advances and, as a result, they sometimes could not wholly or adequately execute their plan, strategy or task.
